OTFC Goes from Strength to Strength
It is a remarkable achievement by any standard, but all the more so considering the club was only formed in 1995.

In the past 5 years, the club has leaped from League F to the Premier.

“There are clubs in this league that haven’t achieved as much in the last 50 years as we have in the past five,” says John Bailes, founder, general manager and secretary.

“I’m so proud of the lads and what they have achieved. Many of the teams they are up against have all the facilities, all the advantages in the world. We’ve got none of that but we have pushed almost all the way to the top.
The club’s player of the year Michael Husbands and star striker Dre Williams with 30 goals to his name take much of the credit for the success, although the role of the manager Howard Swarray, in his first year in charge, should not be overlooked.
Meanwhile there was more success for the second team, who after a stuttering start, more than held their own in the Lancs and Cheshire Leage Division B, under the capable management skills of Paul Gatter.

OTFC meet for training every Tuesday at St Bride’s Field, all over 16s are welcome.
